What this site keeps.
This site asks for one thing at most: your email address, if you sign up for the newsletter. Here is who holds it, where it’s kept, for how long, and how to have it deleted.
Who holds it
Bonded Lot, which is owned by The Bio Logic Foundation. Anything you give this site is held by Bonded Lot and used only as this page describes.
Bonded Lot, 280 W Kagy Blvd Ste D, PMB 186, Bozeman, MT 59715. For any privacy question or request: contact@bondedlot.com.
The newsletter
What’s kept: your email address, which version of the sign-up wording you saw, and the dates you signed up and, if you do, unsubscribed. No name, no IP address, no device details.
What it’s used for: sending you the newsletter. Nothing else. Your address is never shared or sold, and never joined to anything on bondedlot.com.
Right now: sign-ups are held and nothing is sent. Before the first issue, each held address gets one email asking you to confirm. Only confirmed addresses get the newsletter, and every issue has an unsubscribe link.
“Tell Bonded Lot where you buy”
The form on Four questions keeps the seller name or website you type and the time you sent it. It doesn’t ask for or keep your email, your name, your IP address, or anything else that could identify you. The names and counts are never published.
Visiting the site
No cookies, no advertising pixels, no outside scripts. Fonts and images come from this site itself.
Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, our host’s built-in counter. It records the page, the site you came from, your country, browser and device type. It does not record who you are, and it sets no cookie.
Our host keeps standard server logs, which include the IP address of each request, to run and protect the site. We don’t use them to identify or follow visitors.
To stop repeated form submissions, the site briefly holds a scrambled form of your IP address in memory. It’s never written down and is gone within minutes.
The services that store it
Each one handles your information only to provide its service to us.
| SERVICE | WHAT IT DOES | WHERE |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the site; counts visits; keeps server logs | United States |
| Neon | The database holding newsletter sign-ups and seller names typed on Four questions | United States (US East) |
| Postmark | Will send the newsletter, once it starts (nothing is sent before then) | United States |
How long it’s kept
| WHAT | HOW LONG |
|---|---|
| Your email, while you’re subscribed | Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it |
| Your email, after you unsubscribe | We stop emailing at once and delete the address within 30 days |
| Your email, if you never confirm | Deleted 30 days after the confirmation email |
| Seller names typed on Four questions | Kept; they carry nothing about you |
| Visit counts | Kept as totals that don’t identify anyone |
| Server logs | Kept by Vercel for a short period under its own policy |
Deleting it, or seeing it
Email contact@bondedlot.com from the address you signed up with and say what you’d like: a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We’ll do it within 30 days, usually much sooner, remove it from every service above, and reply to confirm.
This site isn’t meant for anyone under 18. If someone under 18 has signed up, tell us and we’ll delete the address.
